Lockheed Martin Govt Relations Sr Mgr in Arlington, Virginia

Under the direction of the Vice President, National and Homeland Security, manages and coordinates Lockheed Martin (LM) interactions within the corporation and with key Intelligence Community stakeholders on defense intelligence priorities and programs.

Responsible for ensuring effective LM relationships with key USG defense intelligence organizations, including the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I)) and key Intelligence Community (IC) functional managers and organizations.

Maintains expertise on key challenges for the defense intelligence enterprise.

Facilitates opportunities for LM to engage with IC counterparts to shape new initiatives and policies, and discuss advanced technologies.

Leads and supports LM cross-business area collaboration to develop solutions for current and future Intelligence Community needs.

Identifies and communicates IC and defense intelligence priorities and initiatives across LM, and manages LM business area responses to those priorities and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications Experienced senior leader who has worked across the Intelligence Community

10-15 years of leadership experience within the Intelligence Community

Familiar with or managed NRO programs, including policy and budget implications

Strong communications staff skills and knowledge of the defense intelligence agencies, including experience interacting with Intelligence Community senior leaders

TS SCI Cleared

Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Desired skills Cross cutting defense intelligence experience, to include ODNI, OUSD(I), CIA, DIA, NGA, NRO, NSA
