Lockheed Martin Cash Management Analyst Senior in Bethesda, Maryland
This Enterprise Operations position rotates the management of the Corporation’s daily cash operations. This includes: determining the cash position and taking appropriate actions to fund the Corporation and BA/BUs’ cash needs, and performing the electronic funds transfer functions to fulfill Corporate requirements.
Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to: •Supporting the management of the multi-billion dollar short-term investment and short-term borrowing (Commercial Paper) programs, as needed, which is part of the management of the Corporation’s daily cash operations. •Acting as Security Administrator of corporate-wide user access capabilities, and supporting the security set-up and system controls of multiple electronic banking systems for all LMC BA/BUs. •Acting as coordinator between LMC BA/BUs, Enterprise Business Services, Corporate Accounting and cash management banks to provide consulting, guidance and support for the daily cash operations and related bank services, bank products and bank systems. •Developing an understanding of preparing of the domestic short-term cash forecast. Working with BA/BUs and Corporate functions to ensure data accuracy and perform actual vs. forecast analysis for continuous quality improvement. •Supporting the Sarbanes Oxley compliance (LM CRIS/Camp+) for Global Treasury Operations, including: cash disbursements, cash management, and external money managers. Supporting testing requirements for other Treasury department controls. •Supporting the annual reviews and audits of users and enterprise-wide bank accounts. •Back-up for preparing the Daily Foreign Balance report and analysis of quarterly Foreign Balance Review with BA/BUs. •Performing special project(s) as needed, including supporting the integration of newly acquired companies into LMC's banking systems and processes, system testing, and research analysis. •Supporting of the analysis and structure of the notional pooling of various foreign currencies. •Preparing quarterly review of investment bank asset size and credit ratings.
Basic Qualifications - Financial business analysis with specific focus in cash management - Effective analytical and problem solving confirmed by related work experience - Effective in building relationships and delivering results - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Knowledge of finance/accounting practices - 9/80 schedule requires core hours of 9am to 4pm for minimum department coverage
Desired skills - Bachelors degree with 6 years of experience or a Masters degree with 4 years of experience. - Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) - Hyperion/Horizon experience - Effective in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment - Effective time management and demonstrated punctuality and reliability - Multitasking and effectively balancing multiple priorities - Proven effective verbal, written, analytical and organizational skills - Prior experience working in a team environment - Attention to detail - Proven reliability and sound judgment in work style and performance - Ability to be accountable, professional and have a 'can-do' attitude - Prior cash management experience is desired but not required
