Lockheed Martin Compensation Analyst Sr in Bethesda, Maryland
SUMMARY: The purpose and responsibility of the Sr. Corporate Compensation Analyst role is to analyze, monitor, develop, and implement base compensation programs that align to the Lockheed Martin’s business goals and pay philosophy. Incumbent should have solid foundation in analytics with experience in making recommendations with internal salary data, determining pay structures and levels, conducting or participating in compensation surveys.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership with regards to conducting global salary surveys, analyze survey results and recommend pay structure adjustments based on LM objectives and external market competitiveness. Develop and review all non-executive pay practices for compliance and best practices, present and make recommendation to compensation leadership. Keeps apprised of applicable industry legislation and regulations related to local and international compensation to ensure compliance. Oversee job analysis projects internally that may develop from business development, labor negotiations or changing talent needs from the business. Requires strong partnership and interaction with human resource business partners, HRIS analysts, payroll, talent acquisition, talent development and direct line leaders to develop a complete total rewards package to address business concerns. Support large scale job reclassification efforts and maintains the Lockheed Martin job library; descriptions, titles, job profiles, FLSA status, SCA/DBA, represented roles, and critical skills inventory. Applies sound compensation principles, best practices and appropriate guidelines when presenting recommendations to management. Provides project status reports to management and ensures project results meet the needs and requirements of the business.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Five or more years of experience in Compensation, Human Resources or related area.
Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to synthesize information and data from a variety of sources.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent relationship management and critical thinking/decision management skills.
Desired skills Organizational Development experience in compensation change management efforts. Experience with implementing pay structure designs or job architecture, a plus.
