Lockheed Martin Information Systems Analyst Senior in Bethesda, Maryland

Candidate will function as a technical Point of Contact for two deployed IT teams both domestic and international. Responsible for developing and implementing new Information Technology (IT) network infrastructure and MS Windows systems for approximately 350 - 500 users. Must be well experienced with LAN/WAN technologies, Windows servers and associated security and peripherals to include implementing system security applications, system refreshes, backups, data storage, and new installs. Will be working with military aviation mission planning systems hardware and software. Responsible for maintaining mission planning systems and debriefing systems. The ideal candidate must be skilled, confident enough to work IT associated issues alone and must possess strong network skills. Also must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Must be able to work with foreign national customers. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling and twisting. The candidate will be supporting the flying operations and additional facilities stand-ups from a military site in Iraq. The candidate must be willing and able to participate in all set-up activities. Environment/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Team members will be confined to the base location which will be a secure compound. Flexibility, motivated, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications - An Associate's Degree from an accredited college with at least 4 years with MS Windows Server, Local Area Network (LAN) Administration and Personal Computer (PC) troubleshooting experience. - Expert level experience with LAN/WAN design and troubleshooting. - Expert level experience with Microsoft Windows servers, Exchange, and Active Directory. - Strong backup and recovery skills. - Experienced with implementing system security policies and industry best practices, and providing security solutions. - Expert-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).

Desired skills - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college - Experience leading a project or team - LAN/WAN setup and administration. - Storage Area Network (SAN) technology. - Disaster recovery planning. - Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal direction/supervision. - Familiar with PC imaging practices. - Must be proactive in meeting customer needs. - Experience working in an aircraft flight operations environment. - Must develop and maintain good relationships with, and be able to take direction from the customer. - Experience working internationally in a middle eastern work environment. - Knowledge and sensitivity to middle-eastern culture. Must be a strong self-starter with the strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. - Must read, write and speak English fluently.
