The Fixed Income Trader PM position will works with Managing Director to monitor portfolios daily positions. Execute OTC and Cleared swap/futures trades as directed by Managing Director or other portfolio managers. Researches investment ideas from Managing Director or other portfolio managers. Executes trades, as needed, by Fixed Income team. Works with custodian and internal back-office to verify all month-end portfolio returns. Works with mid/back-office on all daily trade activity confirmations for fixed income group.

Verifies daily Futures reports with open positions. Verifies daily trading activity with internal mid-office. Works with outside brokers and internal mid/back office to verify and book all OTC trades. Stays abreast and is knowledgeable in all areas of the Fixed Income markets.

Basic Qualifications • 3-7 years of experience trading Fixed Income instruments • Experience with trading and portfolio management software, Bloomberg, etc. • Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal/external personnel • Team player, ability to work well in a group and independently. • Understanding of Investment Management environment, including Front Office trading, Middle Office Trade Support and Back Office accounting.

Desired skills • Excellent computer skills • Experience trading listed and OTC Fixed Income investments including: interest rate swaps and swaptions, credit default swaps and options, and cross currency swaps, futures, cash • Solid risk management skills, and counterparty risk management • Understanding of all recent regulatory changes related to derivative trading • Established relationships with the sell-side • Solid attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills
