Lockheed Martin Technician 4 in Bethesda, Maryland
This position will support the F-16 CLS Program in Iraq.
Customer Service, Warehouse and Inventory Control Technician: Responsible to accurately and efficiently maintain and control Iraq F-16 fleet support inventories. Inventories will be maintained and controlled in multiple warehouse facilities located on the same base in Iraq. Perform DIFM reconciliation, Mission Capable (MCAP) verifications, Research and Records Management, show ability to read and understand Air Force Technical Orders and other specifications to determine correct asset ordering and reparability.
Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, must be a self-starter, possess strong leadership skills, and must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Must be able to work with foreign national customers. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure a DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
Assignment location is in Iraq.
Candidates must be willing and able to participate in remaining set-up activities, assist with receiving and storing aircraft parts, supplies and support equipment. Environmental/weather conditions can be extreme during different seasons. Team members will be confined to the base location which will be a secure compound. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must. As they become qualified, team members will have responsibility to help train Iraq Air Force Military members on operations and assigned developmental courses.
Basic Qualifications - Minimum 5 years documented experience in government inventory control and/or warehouse supply management, inventory control, records management
Desired skills -F-16 specific supply and warehouse operations experience
Import / Export management
HAZMAT management of storage, shelf-life, and ordering experience.
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management and/or Material Control
Excel knowledgeable level proficient
Experience training foreign military personnel through military or contract environment
-Computer skills and experience to include MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access) and inventory/supply chain management systems
Previous experience in establishing and setting up new warehouse/inventory control facilities
Customer/Government Furnished Property Management Experience
Classified equipment storage and handling experience
Ability to speak/communicate in Arabic
