SSC seeks an experienced System Administrator for its Boulder, CO location on the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program.

This position will be part of a program team responsible for all aspects of Windows, Storage and some UNIX and AIX server administration within the existing lab environment as it pertains to the server infrastructure.

Duties include all aspects of system administration including a focus on maintaining compliance with all audit and security requirements imposed by the Lockheed Martin Corporation and customer requirements. The position also includes leading or assisting with activities such as technical refresh, support of other equipment within the lab environment such as networking and some test equipment, new technology integration, project implementation, and other IT service delivery activities.

This role is extensive and may also have other delegated responsibilities and duties assigned. The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to support off hours support of the labs.

Basic Qualifications 1 - 2 years demonstrated experience • Must be a United States citizen • Virtualization experience • Unix System administration experience • MS Windows experience • System installation and integration experience • Ability to work in a team environment • Team player with strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills • Final secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years • Redhat 6.x+ experience • Experience with upgrading server operating systems, tech refresh, imaging, configuration management • Experience in computer hardware support including troubleshooting issues and replacement of internal hardware. • Experience in classified infrastructure system administration security management • Experience with System Hardening and Vulnerability Remediation • Working knowledge of backup and restore applications • Familiarity with lab administration and change / configuration management in systems and subsystem level Systems Administration and Enterprise experience

Desired skills • Basic working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX Operating Systems • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity • Basic knowledge of Server virtualization (Windows/Solaris/Linux) Works well in a fast paced team environment and as an individual contributor. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to research and design creative solutions to solve existing challenges. • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) • Scripting skills to automate tasks on servers • DevOps process/tools/technologies • Security+ Certification
