Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in Boulder, Colorado
Lockheed Martin's Real-time Transfer Service (RTS) team is looking for a talented system engineer for a key position supporting an on-going government contract. The successful candidate will have experience in all phases of the systems engineer and ops support life cycle. You will be responsible for executing the program within the agile software development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include:
- Interacting with project team members and other with high level stakeholders
- Working with the nontechnical team members to envision a clear, high-level technical solution that meets business and experience goals, without undue technical complexity.
- Identifying, sizing, and prioritizing increments of work to be targeted for each iteration.
- Working closely with the project team, particularly the Scrum Master and technical architect, to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements based on Lockheed’s Scaled Agile Framework Agile release process and iteration schedule.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering or scientific discipline. Strong systems engineering knowledge including requirements analysis, systems modeling, analysis and design. Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
Desired skills Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AWS based systems. Experience working in all aspects of the systems engineering and operations support efforts associated with the development, integration and demonstration of a system solution which complies with all performance requirements. Linux OS background.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communication skills
