Lockheed Martin Configuration Analyst / Software CM in Cannon Afb, New Mexico

Responsible for updating and maintaining the Software Configuration Management (SWCM) baselines for several Air Force aircrew training simulators, a networking system and a visual database generation system on the ATARS II Contract. Reviews software changes to all baseline systems on all Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) and other CM duties as assigned by the manager. Ensures the accuracy and quality content of engineering modifications prior to the release into the established product baseline. Ensures that modification records are coordinated for management control. Updates the SW baselines with all approved Configuration Control Board and Program Office approved additions, deletions, and modifications. Participates in Engineering Peer Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) to assure that all CM requirements are met. Tracks all software changes through the CM Software release process. Maintains configuration control of site software baselines through CM processes defined in the ATARS II CM Plan. Ensures the Re-competition Support Package is updated with all approved Software Changes. Responsible for inventory, maintaining, and tracking SW CM unclassified and classified media items. Responsible for inventory and control of all Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software and Licensing and entry into the COTS Software database. Coordinates with site engineers, Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance and Government representatives on CM activities. Defines, documents, and implements improvements to site software CM processes and ensures all Contractor Operator and Work Instructions are current. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans. Supports all areas of CM when necessary. Occasional travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications Windows and Unix OS software/hardware experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint MUST be able to work flexible hours 1 to 2 years software programming experience 2nd and 3rd shift are required occasionally

Desired skills Proficient with software baselines, software backup tools and Unix Previous experience with the ATARS contract and aircraft simulator devices Configuration Management experience Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to work well under pressure Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
