Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer SR in Cape Canaveral, Florida
Directly supports FBM Support Equipment Products in the design and development of electronic Automated Test Equipment. Investigate and resolve issues with the hardware and/or software associated with Automated Test Equipment used for missile subsystems and component test and qualification. Performs requirements analysis, design, materiel procurement, and implementation according to FBM and Lockheed Martin process and procedures. This is to include test and integration and support to formal test / delivery of the product.
Position requires strong organizational and communication skills. Works within a team of approximately 6 hardware and/or software design Engineers who perform analysis, design, development, verification, configuration management and test of deliverable hardware products. This position requires the ability to interact, plan, and coordinate between Support Equipment Products Engineering and the production facility where this equipment is located and the personnel who operate and manage it. Directly engages with the Support Equipment Products management team and FBM Program leadership in the coordination and prioritization of product development/implementation tasks. Ensures formal product development is performed to support key program events such as requirements reviews (SRR), preliminary design (PDR), critical design (CDR), development testing, Software Qualification Testing (SQT), production package testing, system performance reviews and formal delivery/government accreditation.
Specific job functions include: - Maintain team focus and cohesiveness in work environment where personnel, equipment, customers and management are geographically distributed between multiple states. - Perform and execute assigned projects in accordance to the prescribed cost & schedule profiles. Initiate and implement corrective actions when cost & schedule drifted beyond the baseline. - Promotes effective communication with counterparts in other program IPTs as well as US government customers - Prepares and presents complex technical material to upper management and customer - Performs validation of software and test hardware - Participate in technical reviews/audits. - Perform documentation changes and maintenance in accordance with established engineering procedures. - Periodic travel to may be required.

Basic Qualifications 1. BSEE in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field or equivalent experience/combined education 2. Familiarity with Electrical Engineering simulation tools (such as SPICE). 3. Experience using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies). 4. Experience in development life cycle - requirements analysis, design integration and testing of console components including digital and analog circuits and support validation & testing of final product sell off to the customer. 5. Working knowledge of electronic components, including EMI/EMC.

Desired skills 1. RF,Analog and/or digital design, analysis and testing experience is highly desired. 2. Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis 3. Experience with automated test management software (Test Stand, Test Studio, or MATLAB) 4 The candidate should to be familiar with the LMSSC engineering processes and disciplines. 5. Experience in Console/rack test equipment development cycle. Knowledge of front-end product development, including generation of requirements and interfaces, analog and digital design, and transition to production experience. 6. Applicant will be expected to be capable of understanding and evaluating information provided by the subcontractor and to make recommendation to LM FBM management based on their inputs. 7. Ability to produce and present informal / formal status briefings to both LM Program Management and Customer. 8. Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., subcontractor, customer, and multiple internal & external organizations) 9. Must work well in a team environment with good interpersonal, communication & organizational skills.
