Lockheed Martin Communications Rep Stf in Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Sikorsky Operations in Coatesville, PA has a current opening for a Communications Representative. This position will be responsible for the development, planning and executing of all communication activities and events that support Coatesville Operations and site requirements. This includes providing communications advice, counsel and support to the Coatesville General Manager and site leaders, developing and managing communications plans, employee communications, crisis communications, media engagements, community relations, employee events and customer visits.
The position reports to the Sikorsky CSS Communications Manager, with dotted line reporting to the GM, Coatesville. The position is based in Coatesville, PA.
This position provides communications advice and counsel to the GM, Coatesville and the Coatesville leadership team. Supports GM communications rhythm, participates in strategy, business development, customer and operations planning meetings as requested. Provides counsel to senior leaders, managers and supervisors regarding communications, messaging and presence with employees, customers and key external stakeholders. Collaborates with the Communications’ Centers of Excellence to plan, prepare and execute strategic communications campaigns, marketing, advertising and digital media requirements supporting Coatesville, Sikorsky, RMS and Corporate focus programs.
Basic Qualifications - Experience with both internal and external communications - Ability to lead cross-functional projects to promote employee engagement, diversity, and change management communications - Ability interact with senior executives and provide critical advice and counsel - Ability to work decisively, cooperatively, effectively with peers, colleagues and customers - Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet) - Must be able to work and report in a complex matrixed organization - Strong organizational skills with demonstrated writing and editing abilities - Demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced, creative environment - 100 percent reliability in meeting deadlines - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with customers and across many different organizational levels and functions
