Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Stf in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Responsible for providing subject matter expertise and system engineering for the Lockheed Martin DIAMONDShield as well as CAOC teams for the EADGE-T program. Provide expert advice and support during the entire life cycle from the specification and analysis of requirements, through the design of the software, development, and integration and test. Development of application user interaction storyboards as well as artifacts in the unified modeling language. Support to the software development teams implementing the storyboards, including testing on new and legacy capabilities. Job requires working closely with software engineers, system engineers, and customer/end user representatives to refine user interfaces and overall capabilities.

Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to this Middle East customer’s work schedule. Travel and temporary duty to the customer location may be required for the selected candidate.

Basic Qualifications Must be a multidisciplinary Command and Control (C2) subject matter expert who can perform systems engineering analysis, planning and requirements generation/ validation; as well as, design of user interfaces to meet C2 operator needs and support to the software application development team. Must be able to develop UML artifacts, user stories and other related outputs.

Desired skills Experience with air and missile defense concepts, processes and procedures. Previous Air Operation Center functions and systems experience desired. Familiarity with C4ISR software related programs is a plus. Ability to analyze operational and organizational concepts, operational requirements, operational models, operational architectures, operational workflows and associated tasks, and doctrine in context of newly developed application and translate requirements into software and architectural artifacts. Familiarity with Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS), Command and Control Application and Information Services Development (C2AD), LM DIAMONDShield, and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) domain. Familiarity with DOORs, Rational Rhapsody, Visio, Gliffy, MS Office applications; excellent written and oral communication skills, including preparing and presenting briefings for customer/executive management as well as communications between engineering functional skills. Previous experience with Agile development environments. Previous experience working with foreign personnel is a plus. Verbal or written capabilities in Arabic language a strong plus.
