Lockheed Martin Quality Control Analyst Sr in Crane, Indiana

This position performs test support activities and inspections on space flight parts and assemblies at multiple suppliers in the eastern Midwest US region, with occasional travel to adjacent regions. The position requires frequent support in Crane, IN. The candidate supports Supply Chain Quality (SCQ) activities and will report to the Eastern Region Source Acceptance Manager. This person will provide process oversight and lead continuous improvement within the organization with LM suppliers. They will be responsible for management of supplier corrective actions including root cause and corrective action oversight, analyze internal SCQ metrics to develop and implement process improvement activities. They will represent Lockheed SCQ at supplier and customer interactions. They must be able to perform inspections on space flight electrical and mechanical assemblies at aerospace suppliers in the Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky/Tennessee area.

Basic Qualifications *BS Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Quality Assurance

*Able to read and interpret POs, non conformance documentation and design requirements, responsible for process verification and EIDP review

*Strong background in mechanical inspection.

*Willingness to travel regionally 75-100% of the time.

*Understand root cause / corrective action process and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.

*Ability to work effectively with customers and suppliers.

*Basic knowledge of ERP/EPDM systems such as SAP and Windchill.

*Strong background in electrical and environmental testing for space flight hardware.

Desired skills *Strong background in engineering drawings and GD&T

*Experience with working with suppliers and dispositioning space flight hardware.

*Strong problem solving skills, and ability to think creatively

*Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

*A detailed working knowledge and understanding of requirements flow-down and supplier process oversight

*A good working knowledge and understanding of Mission Success processes.

*Understanding of root cause analysis methodologies and demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of effective preventive/corrective action plans.

*Basic knowledge of P2P and SAP systems for PO's, Supplier approvals and Q-notes

*Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and organization skills
