Lockheed Martin Network Data Comm Anlyst in Denver, Colorado
As a team member in the Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Data, Voice, and Video (DV2) Infrastructure organization, this position will assist in managing a complex suite of network hardware and software across an enterprise network environment as a member of the DV2 Central Region team. A primary focus of this Network Analyst position is supporting the Lockheed Martin Corporate Intranet in Denver, Colorado. The Lockheed Martin Intranet (LMI), a corporate-wide network that supports all Lockheed Martin Business Unit Wide Area Network requirements. The LMI is a TCP/IP based Network utilizing Multi-Protocol Label Switched (MPLS) Virtual Private Networks (VPN) for transport. This position is also responsible for successfully maintaining lean operating processes and procedures for managing change, problems, and overall service consistent with the EBS strategic objectives.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Serving as a Network Administrator for the LMI Network - Configuring and maintaining Routers and Switches - Troubleshooting the Lockheed Martin Network (LMN) and associated Peripheral Equipment - Create and periodically review network schematics, diagrams, and other program documentation - Coordinating network equipment and cable infrastructure installations - Performing adds, moves, and changes in the Lockheed Martin Network Environment - Working with customers and internal personnel to manage related IT projects and provide customer service and technical support - Working with the IT Service Management Process for all Problem, Change and Configuration Management - Updating SOIs and other technical documentation, procedures and databases
Basic Qualifications - Experience with Data Protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP) - Experience with Routing Protocols (e.g. EIGRP, BGP) - Experience with Cisco Routers and associated IOS - Experience with Telecommunications Circuits (e.g. T1, DS3, OC-X, Ethernet) - Experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) - Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance - Ability to work in a virtual team environment - Able to successfully multitask assignments and perform in a schedule driven environment - Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Desired skills - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Proficient in Data Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) - Proficient in Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP) - Proficient working with Cisco Routers and Switches and associated IOS - Proficient in Telecommunications Circuits and working with Telecom Vendors - Proficient working with the Remedy ITSM toolset.
