Lockheed Martin Network Administrator - CCNA - CISSP - CCNP - Special Operations - Clearance Required in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator for Fayetteville, NC.

Duty Description:

Support providing a wide variety of systems integration, computer networking, and training support services related to support of classified mission-sets and related program management. The nature of the missions supported and the associated Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) necessitates that specific information will only be made available to the individual once hired.

Support includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

Computer Resources and Software Support: Consisting of Systems installation, integration of current computer systems, networks and servers, expansion of network capabilities through integration of cutting edge technologies. Network operation and administration of the section’s core network. Providing network connectivity back to the core network when deployed worldwide.

Maintenance Planning and Management: Consisting of network, server and computer maintenance and testing in support of a wide range of activities, both CONUS and OCONUS.

Training and Training Support: Consisting of providing functional technician advice, analysis, application, and integration of systems to support SOF operations and training of tactics, techniques and procedures. A demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with military staff and other Government representatives is also mandatory.

Sustaining Engineering: The individual shall, preferably, have a demonstrated understanding of the concepts, principles, and practices of Industrial Control Systems (ICS or Distributed Control Systems DCS). Including related technologies in order to identify, review, assess, and provide resolution of deficiencies throughout the network(s) and associated network systems’ life cycle.

Technical Data Management: Consisting of recording of systems logs, maintenance logs for the networks’, servers, computers and software, and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the sustainment and day to day operation of the networks.

Basic Qualifications Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI.

Military experience or experience working with or for US Military and Special Operations Forces.

A Bachelor of Science degree, with emphasis on computer science or other related field of study, from an accredited college or university is preferred. Exceptions will be considered for individuals with extensive demonstrable knowledge and experience in computer and/or network disciplines.

Desired skills Individual shall have extensive familiarity and understanding of common computer operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Apple IOS, and Android. CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred. Additional consideration will be given for CISSP certification. Additional consideration will be given for working knowledge or experience with SCADA-related technologies. Additional consideration will be given for JAVA, Python or C Programming experience.

Individual shall have specialized experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies in all Microsoft (MS) Office applications. The purpose of this is to correctly document all networks, network changes, and R&D efforts.

Individual shall have sufficient experience, knowledge and expertise to assist the staff to maintain the currency, relevancy and lawful compliance of current systems and functional infrastructure in the face of evolving technology, regulations, policies, procedures, and processes.

Ability to interface with and provide technical oversight for on-going Research and Development (R&D) projects at (but not limited to) DoD labs, national labs, various government organizations and within the private sector.

Perform technical oversight, review and generate specifications, test and evaluate products.
