Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Engineer Associate in Fort Worth, Texas
Become part of the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Loads & Dynamics team. This position is for an Aeronautical Engineer Associate, with the primary task of performing structural analysis and structural certification activity on the F-16 and F-22 aircraft. The successful candidate will provide structural analysis and certification support in Loads and Structural Dynamics. Tasks may include the following: • Loads – Static and repeated loads analysis. • Structural Dynamics – Flutter and vibroacoustic analysis. • Support of ground and flight testing as required including post-test correlation of analyses • Other tasks as required.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or related technical field.
Desired skills Prior experience in a related industry desired. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively. Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated proficiency in use of software (e.g. MATLAB, C, shell scripts, etc.) to automate analysis. Demonstrated proficiency with external loads development and documentation. Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD 1530.
