Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Associate in Fort Worth, Texas

F-35 Manufacturing Engineer Asc for CFF/LFF Finishes Team. Primary responsibilities include direct shop floor support, maintaining manufacturing plans, process standards, tooling requirements, engineering change implementation, and process improvements. This includes but is not limited to determining root cause of non-conformances, implement Corrective Action, investigating tooling issues, assessing and providing tooling corrective action, initiating tooling rework activities, and providing technical support to the Production team. Provide technical assistance to leadership, supervision and painters to ensure all product is processed in compliance with Finishes requirements, provide work around plan development as required and support improvement initiatives. While posted as a 1st shift req, selected candidate must be able to work 2nd/3rd shifts or rotate shifts as required. Ability to flex schedule is vital to position. Some weekend and overtime support required as general standard in this position.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree • Experience reading engineering blueprints and tool designs • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired skills • Knowledge of LM Aero F-35 Systems (CATIA, PDM, VAS, QADS, SFM, CAPP, ICA), Lean Principles, Continuous Improvement. • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience • Project management experience • Possess working knowledge of LM-FW tooling • Prior experience of Fighter aircraft (5th Generation) Low Observable coatings and related manufacturing processes desirable. • Possess strong problem solving skills
