F-35 Wing Planning team Associate Manager. Responsible for leading hourly Planners and support staff. Manages the generation of, or edits to work instructions. This leader is also responsible for managing the creation and maintenance of the Bill of Material. This individual will generate and coordinate schedules, resource requirements and provide reporting for these activities. Driving and adjusting as necessary work assignments to meet cost and schedule goals. Resolves reporting / data quality issues by working with support functions to identify and implement corrective actions. Support management meetings/reviews and program reviews by preparing data, reports, and presentations and documenting and tracking action items to closure. Identifies and works continuous improvement activities resulting in improvements to Production Operations schedule and cost performance as well as your team's performance. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
-Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications -Must be experienced in standard manufacturing planning processes and procedures. - Experience in manufacturing with emphasis in Manufacturing Engineering and Planning. -Experience in developing schedules, budgets, resource requirements.
Desired skills -Knowledgeable of LM Aero Manufacturing Planning systems (CAPPS, TRF, SFM, EWI, QADS) and related systems and tools (PDM, VAS, SAP). -Familiarity with the F-35: MBOM, Engineering, assembly process, and planning structure. Knowledge of aircraft finishes process -Microsoft Office Suite -Excellent communication skills -Candidate should be a self-starter with a proven record of working well with multi-discipline engineering team, manufacturing engineering teams, as well as production operations. -Should have broad range of experience related to engineering, material management, and manufacturing to ensure success. -Proven record of making sound decisions in a leadership role. -Experience in preparation and delivery of technical presentations to internal and/or external customers. -Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
