Lockheed Martin Program Management-Subcontract Associate Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

The Subcontract Program Manager (SPM) will serve as the Program Manager for the subcontracted work scope and is responsible for overall cost, schedule, technical and quality performance of a moderately complex subcontracted effort. This role will enable the Subcontract Management Team (SMT) to successfully manage the subcontracted effort. To be successful in this role you must demonstrate expertise across a range of program management, process improvement, project management, and leadership skills. The role will require knowledge of activities across the Aero Enterprise. The SPM will be expected to ensure early problem identification and timely resolution of issues to meet program goals and commitments. The SPM will be responsible for establishing risk management process with subcontractors, risk tracking, mitigation plans, Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) tracking (delivery and approval), along with ensuring Statement of Work (SOW), data requirements, and schedules are accurate and complete and flowed to the subcontractors. To execute on these responsibilities, you will be the primary interface between LM program management and subcontractors, and has responsibility for subcontractor performance success. The SPM will ensure regulatory and LM business practices for subcontracting are followed. The SPM will lead reviews for technical design and interchange, programmatic reviews, and working group activities. You will engage in proposal activities to include development of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), subcontractor proposal evaluation, payment strategies, and support of fact-finding and negotiations. The SPM will be expected to develop program Subcontract Management Plans (SMPs) that detail management oversight strategies for program subcontractors. The SPM will also be expected to develop the business rhythm required to effectively manage the subcontracted elements. In this role, you will be asked to travel to both domestic and international locations up to 25% of the time. Must be a US citizen position requires access to special facility

Basic Qualifications -Current active secret security clearance -Experience and/or strong grasp on project management fundamentals -Experience with Subcontract management process and strategies -Experience with Supplier relationship management

Desired skills -Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs Earned Value Management (EVM) -Systems engineering principles -Strong technical background in systems engineering -Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) -Exhibits strong problem solving skills in the application of subcontracts administration -F35 program familiarity -Demonstrated ability to multi-task (position will include program execution and proposal efforts) across multiple programs -Experience influencing cross functional teams, specifically individuals that are not direct reports -Configuration and change management processes -Strong verbal and presentation skills
