Lockheed Martin Project Management Lead in Fort Worth, Texas

This position will be assigned to F-35 Rate Transition Performance and Integration team and will serve as team lead, responsible for the performance management of F-35 Special Tooling, Special Test Equipment and international standup contracts. This position is a control account manager (CAM) position and will have responsibility for overall cost and schedule performance of the team’s scope of work. The position will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 5 members in execution of the full contract lifecycle, including proposal development, contract negotiations, contract baseline, and contract execution (performance to cost and schedule). The position will lead, from a program management perspective, the design, fabrication, procurement and trial run of thousands of special tools required for the rate transition of F-35. The position will also have responsibility to define and improve team processes and integrate with other leaders to ensure adherence to the processes. The position will interface with other leaders to integrate and motivate teams of manufacturing engineers in the execution of the various tooling contracts. The position will work closely with the F-35 program office and government customers on required changes to the contract, risks and opportunities to cost and schedule, and overall performance of the contracts. This will require the ability to understand, summarize, and communicate complex data to program and customer leadership and will require an understanding of the tooling manufacture process. The candidate must possess strong leadership skills and be able to make sound business decisions based on information provided by the team.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications - 3 years minimum CAM/Program Management experience - Leadership experience - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired skills Understanding of F-35 manufacturing processes, F-35 production experience, or experience with special tooling, test equipment, or support equipment

Understanding Lean and Six Sigma Techniques

Experience in developing and improving processes

Demonstrated ability to implement root cause/ corrective action

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and verbally

Strong excel experience, including pivot tables

Demonstrated ability to analyze and summarize complex data

Experience giving persuasive presentations to leadership
