Lockheed Martin Senior Facilities Project Representative in Fort Worth, Texas
In his position, you will manage and administrate Corporate capital, overhead and government funded project schedules and budgets. Manage design and support construction activities via proficient utilization of CAD software design programs (Micro Station, Project Wise, Auto Cad). Communicate with other engineering disciplines, internal customers and A&E's to ensure projects and systems are cost effective, within budget, meet the desired design criteria and schedule guidelines. Reviews applicable building codes and develop a list of criteria to be reflected in the projects. Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for relatively complex projects making appropriate recommendations and design development decisions on small or large projects. Provides technical review of documents. Provides capacity/demand analysis of utility systems and planning to support growth when required. Provides technical support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization as a system expert over time. Perform other duties as needed.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Experience in Project Management. Proficient use of AutoCAD/Microstation software.
Desired skills Registered Architect or working towards registration. Building code knowledge (IBC, UFC, ADA). Construction documentation knowledge. Industrial, office and laboratory facility design experience. Fundamental knowledge of all conventional aspects of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design engineering and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to take the initiative and drive for results. Knowledge of LEED projects or certification is a plus.
