Lockheed Martin Sustainment Optimization and Supportability Analysis Technical Lead in Fort Worth, Texas

The position reports to the F-35 Optimized Solutions Sr. Manager and functions as the Technical Lead for the Sustainment Optimization and Supportability Analysis (SOSA) activities. The SOSA Lead will be required to initiate, manage and complete in-depth SOSA projects including Business Case Analysis, Supportability Analysis, and Trade Studies. This position coordinates across program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other performing teams to collect inputs and perform accurate analysis. The SOSA Lead ensures the quality, approach and thoroughness of SOSA activities. This position is responsible for execution, refinement and improvement of the SOSA process. This position is also responsible for mentoring the team on generating quality BCAs. The SOSA Lead performs Business Case Analysis for Sustainment Improvement Projects, Maintenance Plan Changes, Sustainment Strategic Initiatives, Reliability and Maintainability Improvement Projects and other sustainment efforts. Producing and supporting result briefings for senior internal and external leadership will be required. Additionally this position supports of the Hybrid Program Support Integrator through Enterprise Optimization Modeling. * Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.*

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or above in technical discipline. - Experience with fighter/bomber aircraft. - Experience with Business Case Analysis.

Desired skills - Estimating, finance or business management experience. - Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, affordability, and adaptability. - Experience with large scale, complex military aircraft programs. - Experience with sustainment and logistics. - Knowledge of integrated product support elements and PBL concepts and their relation to program life cycle cost. - Successful candidate must be capable of integrating across multiple IPTs including engineering, sustainment, and procurement. - Experience with mentoring team members.
