Enflite, a subsidiary of LifePort, located in Georgetown, Texas, designs and produces top-of-the-line cabin accessories and galley equipment for executive and first-class commercial aircraft. Enflite is currently searching for a dependable, experienced, and talented individual with a sense of commitment to performance a Production Manager with a role in managing Environment, Safety & Health Primary responsibilities include: - Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, etc. - Compiles, stores, retrieves and analyzes production data. - Coordinates assembly activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. - Demonstrates commitment to achieving safety & health goals and objectives including compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and training to maintain a safe work place. - Directs and coordinates activities of assigned production department in processing materials or manufacturing products by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors/leads. - Establishes production/quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered. - Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. - Inspects equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. - Leads the development and maintains assembly operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and production costs. - Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products in order to meet defined customer expectations for quality and delivery. - Provides guidance to the development of an assembly process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs. - Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations. - Reviews production/operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. - Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. - Upholds company values, ethics, mission and vision.
Employee Safety & Health & (ESH) includes: - Advises management concerning strategic direction for the site to ensure a safe and environmentally sustainable work environment. - Assists/advises management regarding planning for changes in physical facilities and operational processes. - Assures employees are effectively trained in areas of ESH commensurate with their responsibilities. - Conducts ESH Inspections and Audits. - Coordinates with managers/supervisors and functional areas across the site to implement ESH related policies and practices, and to identify any potential areas for process improvement. - Performs Risk Assessments (RAs). - Prepares and updates site ESH policies and procedures. - Prepares applications for and ensures periodic updates of permits.
Experience in Operations: - Minimum requirement is of seven (7) or more years of progressive experience required managing operations, manufacturing, and or assembly environments—in a leadership role. - Demonstrated experience successfully utilizing Continuous Improvement (Lean, 6-Sigma and/or other platforms), and leading manufacturing/assembly best practices. - Demonstrated success in either Aerospace OEM or related industry aftermarket products manufacturing/assembly. - Demonstrated experience forecasting, budgeting, and managing a P&L. - Proven experience in effectively leading people.
Basic Qualifications Minimum requirement is of seven (7) or more years of progressive experience required managing operations, manufacturing, and or assembly environments—in a leadership role.
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or MA/MS degree with 5 or more years of experience. Certificates and other credentials welcome.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Person as defined by the U.S. Department of State.
Desired skills - Experience working with Environmental, Safety & Health matters in a manufacturing environment. - Working knowledge of OSHA and TCEQ regulations and NFPA standards.
