Lockheed Martin Business Development Analyst Senior Staff in Grand Prairie, Texas
Position will be responsible for the formulation, identification and capture of new R&D business within the Army and SOCOM for Missiles and Fire Control in the Advanced Programs and Applied Research lines of business. Position reports to Director Business Development for Advanced Programs and Applied Research.
This position will require travel.
BS degree in Engineering or related sciences
Current Secret Clearance is required
Applicants must have ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to SAP / SAR / SCI classified information
Proven and current knowledge of DoD S&T (Science and Technologies) environment and acquisition processes
Current understanding of capture process, business strategy and business development processes
Current working relationships at several Army S&T offices
Experience in technology development and transition
Ability to present in front of senior level management
Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts and translate their value to customers
Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business environment and priorities
Must have the ability to utilize political skills to cope with conflict
This includes the ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions, leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to craft presentations for senior management and customers
Ability to travel, as required
PhD in Engineering, Math, Physics, or other science field
Experience developing business cases and business plans
Key role on a competitive new business capture team
Prefer experience developing opportunities from early concept / trend identification through qualification, deciding to bid, through proposal development and submittal
Current understanding of LM capture process, business strategy and business development processes
