Lockheed Martin Fire Control Simulation Systems Engineer in Grand Prairie, Texas

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work on the ground fire control system for an air defense missile system. Responsibilities include development, refinement and verification of ground system and fire control algorithms; analysis of lab, flight test and simulation data; and coordination of technical tasks in a collaborative environment. Familiarity with Matlab, Fortran, C++ and UNIX is highly desired.


This position requires an active Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications Experience with a high-level programming language such as Fortran or C++ Experience with performance simulations of missile systems Experience with complex math

Must have an secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills Familiarity with MATLAB, Fortran, C++, and UNIX. Familiarity with missile fire control sensors and algorithms.

Good communication skills Experience leading a small technical team
