Lockheed Martin GNC / Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer/ Fire Control / Grand Prarie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work on the ground fire control system for a mature air defense missile system. Responsibilities include verification and refinement of ground system and fire control algorithms and analysis of lab, flight test and simulation data. Familiarity with Matlab, Fortran, C++ and UNIX is highly desired. An active Secret security clearance is required.
This is considered a mid-career individual contributor role for someone with roughly 5+ years of experience or a combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications Experience with a high-level programming language such as Fortran or C++ Experience with performance simulations of missile systems Experience with complex math
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Must have an secret clearance prior to start
Desired skills Familiarity with MATLAB, Fortran, C++, and UNIX. Familiarity with fire control sensors and algorithms.
Good communication skills Ability to work well as part of a large team
