The ICBM modernization programs involve new development efforts that will require the design and development of new state-of-the-art systems that use advanced technologies to ensure that our ICBM programs remain ahead of the technology curve for decades to come. It will require new and creative thinking, and a fresh approach to replace existing ICBM systems that have served our national defense programs well, but are becoming obsolete. The selected individual will provide focus on Reliability Engineering for a Development program. Reliability Engineering includes a documented Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) and analysis of hardware systems . Implement a parts, materials, and process management plan, including Obsolescence Management based on vanishing vendor, parts control that contributes to the sustainment of hardware and software spares. Must also be familiar with conducting Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). Must also be capable of conducting Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), developing maintenance plans, and provisioning a system for successful long term operations.

This position is contingent upon program award.

Basic Qualifications -At least 5 years experience in reliability engineering. -Experience generating hardware reliability and maintainability analyses. -Experience developing a product support strategy. -Current or prior experience and knowledge of DoD operations and sustainment. -Experience across the engineering lifecycle from design through deployment. -Working knowledge of integrated logistics required to support a enterprise operation including reliability, maintainability, obsolescence management and failure analysis. -Experience with identification and tracking of hardware, RMA, obsolescence, and performance metrics.

The candidate will have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment; to include development teams, product owners and program leadership.

Desired skills -Experience with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), maintenance planning, and reliability centered maintenance/preventive maintenance products, and maintenance and repair analysis. -Working knowledge of configuration and data management plans and procedures to ensure baseline stability. -Demonstrated ability to identify sparing levels and manage spare parts inventory. -Experience conducting Level of Repair Analysis. -Experience with FMECA.
