F-22 Fuel Systems Technician: Duties: Perform and assist with the maintenance and repair of the F-22 aircraft fuel systems and associated hardware. Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of F-22 aircraft systems including associated components, at the organizational and depot level of maintenance. Read and interpret F-22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. Work with precision measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and standard scales. Advice and assistance will be provided at the Intermediate level on those components not supported with automatic test equipment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory. All technicians shall be U.S. citizens. All personnel must have a secret clearance or the ability to obtain a secret clearance prior to deployment. All necessary technical and skills certifications must be obtained prior to deployment. Other: F-22 experience preferred. Candidates with additional experience in any of the following areas are preferred; shop/flight line setup, debrief, field training detachment (FTD), technical order library maintenance, quality assurance, or modification teams. Experience in more than one of the aforementioned areas will be viewed as a positive element during employment consideration

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Basic Qualifications F-22 Fighter aircraft maintenance experience (Fuels).

5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate or equivalent 6 years experience

Desired skills Knowledgeable of Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.

Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory.

Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of F-22 fuels systems including associated components, at the organizational level of maintenance.

Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Military experience clearing aircraft for flight equipment discrepancies and 6 years current experience in their respective disciplines on F-22’s.
