Lockheed Martin Contracts Negotiator in Hill Air Force Base, Utah

'This position Is located in Ogden Utah and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program under the Strategic Missile Defense Line of Business within Space Systems Company.

Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates and renegotiates standard and nonstandard contracts. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel. Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals by performing tasks requiring discretion and general knowledge and ability.

Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

This position will start in October of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to a variety of contracting issues which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other organizations.

At least 3+ years of experience in a DoD Contracts Management role.

Effective working understanding of FAR/DFARS contracting to work effectively and independently in a dynamic, strategic, highly visible environment within tight deadlines.

Superior presentation and written communication skills.

Desired skills Experience with multiple contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPAF/IF, T&M).

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Detail and teamwork oriented.
