Perform Quality Assurance support tasks in accordance with ATARS II policies and procedures. Coordinate with various Lockheed departments and suppliers relating to quality issues and information flow. Evaluate, maintain, track and report quality metrics. Analyze quality data using statistical methods to drive process and design improvements. Evaluate & audit critical training & inspection processes, policies and procedures to ensure that performance and quality standards conform to established requirements. Conduct QA activities (i.e. support system development, manage hardware and software work products, and ensure that activities adhere to applicable standards, procedures, and requirements). Provide internal and external customers support. Inform affected groups and individuals of QA activities and results. Support third party surveillances, assessments, and recertification efforts. Ensure contractual and industry standard compliance. Conduct follow-on assessments to ensure timely resolution of issues. Position may require overtime and travel.
Basic Qualifications - Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/Preventive Action definition, and auditing/surveillance - Knowledge of CMMI and AS9100 principles - Proficient with MS Office and strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to obtain a SECRET or higher security clearance
Desired skills - Experience working with a military customer - Experience in implementing CMMI and AS9100 Audits - Knowledgeable of Courseware development and review process - S/W Peer Review Experience - Experience with material review, discrepancy reporting, and dispositioning - Experience in USAF aircrew training operations and student - Knowledge of Instructional System Design, HW/SW engineering practices, logistics, IT infrastructure and Information Assurance principles, configuration management, test and evaluation
