Lockheed Martin Technical Writer/ Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) in King George, Virginia
Develop, evaluate, and update curricula for AEGIS International Programs and Ballistic Missile Defense training course materials in compliance with Navy curriculum standards. Evaluate existing training materials and procedures and make recommendations or revisions to ensure technical accuracy, usability, adequate references and resources, and quality standards. Facilitate, plan and/or present status or materials during In Process Reviews (IPR) and Training Readiness Reviews (TRR). Provide training and support to the subject matter experts and curriculum developers with curriculum development and AIM data entry. Provide direct interface support to the Navy customers as a liaison for management coordinating special projects, deliveries and quality assurance process and procedures. Provide technical and procedural reviews of training simulations, software, and supporting design documentation.
Please note, this is a casual, call-in position.
Basic Qualifications Technical knowledge and experience with NAVEDTRA series instructional design documentation for AIM I, AIM II, and CPM/LOM.
Ability to create or update Training Path System, Training Project Plans, Lesson Plans, Trainee Guides, and presentation materials.
Desired skills Familiar with all stages of curriculum development from planning to promulgation. Proven ability to instruct and facilitate others to use AIM and CPM/LOM software. Ability to work independently and without supervision, to provide feedback to others and to enhance development in a cooperative team environment. Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
