Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior Staff in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
This position Is located in Valley Forge Pa., and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by contributing to Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) implementation on GBSD. The successful candidate will employ Model Based Systems Engineering approaches to develop and mature Systems Engineering products and models using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate system design and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering. Also included is the integration of Segment and Element developed Weapons Systems Architecture Model products into the master architecture model after coordination and approval of the products. This position includes the effort to ensure the products are fully coordinated between the working baseline and the master baseline. Support to the Systems life Cycle Reviews (SRR, SFR 9QTIM, PDR) will be provided. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.
Basic Qualifications - Experience using system modeling tools (Rhapsody, MagicDraw, etc...) to solve systems engineering problems. - Understanding and working knowledge of SysML - Working knowledge of Modeling Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and implementation - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.
