Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania

The successful candidate will have an understanding of systems engineering principles as it relates to developing, coordinating, and conducting technical studies, evaluations of engineering design concepts, and detailed technical analyses using mathematical models for weapon systems, subsystems, assemblies, and components. Candidate will also be expected to establish effective communication between the Air Force Strategic Programs Team and our customers on a regular basis. Role will include an experience related system and component data trending analysis using complex statistical approaches. Candidate will support the generation of analytical products related to sustainment of current and development of future strategic weapons systems. Tasking relating to reliability, risk assessment, and requirements management will also be required. Other duties will include: Performing engineering assessment of systems or subsystems using methodologies and techniques appropriate to the systems engineering discipline, including radiation effects, risk management, requirements management, and reliability analysis. Provide support during the entire life cycle from the specification and analysis of requirements, through the design of the hardware, procurement, and integration and test phases. Identify and solve technical problems during all phases and develop technical reports and documentation.

Basic Qualifications Familiarity with requirements development activities including requirement creation, validation and/or verification utilizing various test and analytical techniques.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Desired skills Strong mathematics background with emphasis on statistical evaluations and modeling as it relates to the design and assessment of electrical and/or mechanical components and systems.

Demonstrated experience with Requirements data base tools (DOORS, etc.).

Experience with Model Based Engineering processes and tools, to include Rhapsody, Cameo System Modeler, SysML or similar.

Strong organizational and communications skills.

Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.

Experience in Project Planning tools and methods.

Skills in performing technical analyses of systems and components.
