Lockheed Martin ASIC & FPGA (Senior Design Engineer) in Littleton, Colorado

Emerging Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) & Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Leads design teams and mentors junior engineers. Performs ASIC/FPGA design and/or verification tasks. Frequently supports design reviews and critical analysis for ASIC and FPGAs developed by SSC and/or partner companies. Assists leadership with staffing and project planning activities. Develops technical ideas and advanced concepts guiding new development efforts or activities to improve affordability in organization. Regular collaboration with other SMEs, leaders and senior staff.

Basic Qualifications ASIC or FPGA design or verification Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship

Desired skills ASIC design, specifically RTL using VHDL or Verilog ASIC verification, specifically SystemVerilog/UVM Experience working with ASIC vendor(s) and/or foundries ASIC project leadership experience from requirements definition to tape-out
