Lockheed Martin Production Operations Manufacturing & Test Engineering Manager in Littleton, Colorado
The Production Operations Manufacturing & Test Engineering Manager will have responsibility for managing Manufacturing & Test Engineering for the RF & Micro Electronics organization. Responsibilities include: Providing appropriately skilled ME's and TE's to the RF & Micro Electronics product lines; Managing ME/TE resources to complete strategic improvement projects that benefit RF & Micro Electronics; Staffing, to include training & skill development; Ensuring Manufacturing & Testing compliance & certifications are maintained and followed; Managing Manufacturing & Test equipment maintenance, calibrations and overall availability. Other duties include working with RF/Micro Electronics product lines to ensure on time delivery of h/w; Providing estimates/ROM's for program proposals. The selected candidate will interface with Production Leads, other Test & Manufacturing peers, CPEs, PP&C, Quality, Programs and Management. Candidate shall demonstrate the Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives and recruit, retain and develop a diverse workforce and actively participate in the mentorship program. Manage to Manufacturing financial commitments to customers, training, capital, IRAD, and overhead budgets. Experienced with capital planning and acquisition, facilities management and understanding of environmental standards. Requirements include a robust safety program, rapid improvement processing, cost reduction initiatives and long range strategic planning.
Basic Qualifications * Demonstrated management experience in an electronic Manufacturing and/or Test environment. * Understands electronics Manufacturing & Test processes and procedures. * Experience with selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition of employees, and/or disciplinary actions. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software (Project Schedule, Excel, PowerPoint, Word). * Must have demonstrated ability leading a group of exempt (salary) employees. * Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership qualities. * Must have excellent communication, change management, and organizational skills. * US Citizenship required
Desired skills * Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Test Calibrations and/or Preventative Maintenance. * Using/Understanding PODs (Production Operation Directives). * Experience performing test equipment FFMEA's. * Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP, VE-CAMs & EPDM. * Experience w/Labview. * Automation Framework experience.
