Lockheed Martin QA Engineer in Littleton, Colorado
In this role the employee will assist in maintaining established Quality processes across multiple computer platforms including ERP and SAP. This individual will assist in the maintenance for the Quality Process command media and will provide process guidance and mentoring to the using community. This position will also develop new Quality processes when required. These Quality processes include most Quality elements of the SSC Quality Management System which is written around the requirements of AS9100 Revision D. Collective Corrective Action, ERP/SAP System Access requirements, Stamp Control, Control & Disposition of Nonconforming Hardware, Supporting MAPs/MPIs, Training, Root Cause & CA Analysis and Trend analysis of Quality data are major process areas that require focused attention on an ongoing basis. This individual must be a team player able to create solutions to issues and collaborate with other organizations to resolve and implement these solutions.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.). Working knowledge of external quality standards such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Knowledge of Manufacturing/Quality processes and documentation Proven decision making ability. Ability to perform root cause analysis. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, being thorough and detail oriented. Strong analytical skills with a strong task/assignment closure ethic. Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of software tools. Change agent mindset demonstrated through implemented improvements.
Desired skills Working knowledge of ERP/SAP system, with the ability to create solutions to ERP/SAP issues. Ability to create and update changes to Command Media. Ability to coordinate, communicate, and implement system changes, including hands-on teaching and mentoring (must be able to effectively communicate and teach). Hands on experience with manufacturing, test, supply chain, and/or program activities Ability to understand, instruct and resolve issues dealing with the PR/MRB Process. Ability to develop, create, update, and teach Command Media and processes used by Quality Engineers throughout LMSSC.
