Job duties include: • Systems engineering role within the Military Support Programs, Mission Engineering & Operations (MEO) team • Executes responsibility for a DataComms Subsystem • Applies systems engineering and systems integration practices to develop nominal and anomaly operational concepts • Defines requirements • Produces a detailed design, validates the design against a proposed architecture • Develops software and tools and conducts software testing for existing and future systems • Partners with customers, developers, and operations • Defines required changes to system requirements, assesses impact of changes, develops viable systems solutions • Engages in travel and off-shift support • Responds to non-nominal system performance via pager recall • Maintaining the required TS/SCI clearance is critical to performing this role

Basic Qualifications • Experience with DataComms subsystems on Military Support Programs (MSP) or similar aerospace program
• Possesses strong systems engineering/electrical engineering, or similar background and ability to work as part of a technical team
• Demonstrates experience in software and systems engineering/integration utilizing Linux and Windows operating environments.

Desired skills • Previous subsystem experience with MSP (Military Support Program)
• Ability to perform in dynamic situations
• Knowledge of Test and Operations Programming Language (TOPL) and program-specific Command and Control (C&C)
• Demonstrates strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, time-management, and self-motivation skills
• Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to constantly changing requirements and situations
• Demonstrate experience in assessing risk, properly prioritizing, obtaining status, and accomplishing multiple tasks with only general direction
• Programming experience in MATLAB
