• This position is for a software engineer to participate in the development and integration of software in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined research and development environment. • The responsibilities for this position include (1) software design and implementation, (2) scientific software development and porting, (3) software profiling and performance optimization, (4) presentation of work at customer reviews.

Basic Qualifications (1) Full-lifecycle experience in C++ in Unix/Linux development environments, (2) Full-lifecycle Java experience, (3) Experience in High Performance Computing, Real-Time Programming, Scientific/Analytic programming or a related discipline, (4) Proficiency in Python or other prototyping language (e.g.,Matlab), (5) Self-motivated individual seeking a learning environment and challenging assignments implementing state of the art signal processing algorithms and applications, (6) Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and/or signal formation and geolocation processing.

Desired skills (1) Experience presenting to customers at formal program reviews, (2) Technical writing experience, (3) Understanding of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) environment and experience analyzing results to determine quality of software developed, (4) Strong Statistics/Math background, (5) Familiarity with machine learning, (6) Familiarity with Git, JIRA and Bitbucket
