• This position is for a software engineer to participate in the development and integration of software in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined research and development environment under the mentorship of experts in the DSP field. • The responsibilities for this position include (1) Algorithm development involving detection, signal formation and geolocation, (2) Mission performance and data analysis, (3) Technical writing and presentation to customers, (4) Scientific software development.

Basic Qualifications (1) Strong Math and/or Physics background with experience in the Intelligence Community, (2) Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and/or signal formation and geolocation processing, (3) Full life-cycle experience with C++ in Unix development environments, (4) Proficient in Python or other prototyping language (e.g., Matlab), (5) Self-motivated individual seeking a learning environment and challenging assignments developing state of the art signal processing algorithms and applications.
Desired skills (1) Strong statistics background, (2) Understanding of both the conventional and modern Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) environment and experience analyzing signal processing results to determine quality of algorithms and software developed, (3) Experience leading projects - providing budget and schedule oversight, (4) Experience presenting to customers at formal program reviews, (5) Familiarity with machine learning, (6) Familiarity with Git, JIRA and Bitbucket.
