Lockheed Martin Software Engineer in Littleton, Colorado
Software Engineer in the Test bed and Simulation organization developing key software components for a variety of test bed and simulation solutions: - Develop and maintain software models including spacecraft environment, components, and payloads - Develop and maintain real-time and embedded simulation software - Develop and maintain tools to aid in the development, integration, and verification of test bed and simulation solutions - Perform all phases of software development including software requirements definition, software design, implementation, and unit testing - Perform software integration and test development - Work with multiple programming languages, operating systems, and development environments
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline - Familiarity with C/C++ programming - Familiarity with Python programming - Familiarity with Linux - Strong written communication skills
Desired skills - Understanding of spacecraft systems and general aerospace knowledge - Experience developing software for real-time systems - Experience developing software for simulators and test beds - Experience collaborating with a team using Continuous Integration practices and a distributed version control system - Experience developing software unit tests and using unit test frameworks - Proficiency in C/C++ programming - Proficiency in Python programming - Excellent organizational and problem solving skills - DOD Secret and TS/SCI clearances
