Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior in Littleton, Colorado

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by supporting the development and maturation of the GBSD Systems Architecture Requirements flow down. The selected candidate will develop will be responsible for successful development of the system level requirements. Specifically, the successful candidate will work directly with various program segments/IPTS (AVE, Launch and Weapons Systems Command and Control (WSC2)) to ensure system level requirements are properly developed, map to the Level 2 requirements, consistent with the Operations Concept, and drive the subsystem requirements. Also includes: the development of external and internal Interface Control Documents (ICDs) , Assessment of existing MM III external interface specifications for impacts, Update of external interface specifications, Coordination with both internal and external stakeholders on the interfaces, analysis of interface parameters results, Generation of new external interface control documents for GBSD (Codes/Crypto ICD, Targeting ICD, Range Safety ICD, Information Technology (IT)/National Security Systems (NSS) ICD), Management of ICD requirements in the requirements management database/system model and trace of ICD requirements. A successful candidate will have experience with and also manage the entire project requirements data base in DOORs. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications - Knowledge and experience with Requirements and Verification development and/or management - Demonstrated experience with requirements data base tools - Working knowledge of system engineering processes to include verification and/or validation - Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal customers - Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment - Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.
