Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in Littleton, Colorado

This position Is located in Denver Colorado and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by contributing to Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) implementation on GBSD. The successful candidate will employ Model Based Systems Engineering approaches to develop and mature Systems Engineering products and models using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate system design and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering integration with other domains. This position will develop architecture and interface documentation from model data, elicit stakeholder needs and requirements from model data, and use system design data from model to develop assembly, integration and verification data from model. In addition, DoDAF viewpoints will be developed, matured and maintained by the WSEIT, and these models will be delivered to the Government to support systems reviews of SRR, SFR, 9QTIM, and PDR. This position will start in November of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications - Exposure to SysML and Modeling Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) - Working knowledge of systems engineering processes and activities - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.

Desired skills - Experience with US Air Force Weapon Systems Programs - Experience with US Strategic Systems - Experience with Missile Weapons Systems -Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) - Experience with USAF Minuteman III Acquisition and Sustainment - Experience with DOORS - Experience using system modeling tools (Rhapsody, MagicDraw, etc...) to solve systems engineering problems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project). - Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members. - Effectively manage change
