Lockheed Martin Technician Quality Engineer Senior in Littleton, Colorado
Qualified candidate will support the Product Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance inspector in a variety of test lab environments. The tasks include performing inspections of hardware as defined by production orders/test procedures/etc., monitoring/witnessing tests to ensure that procedures are followed and requirements are achieved, and identifying/documenting anomalies discovered during test operations. Tasks also include reviewing specifications, sketches, drawings, schematics test procedures, test plans, and production orders, and monitoring operations to ensure processes are followed.
Responsibilities of the selected candidate will include the following:
- Participate in production operations taking place in the highbays - green dots, shift changes, production operations such as installing, testing, transport, etc.
- Communicate regularly with QA counterparts and proactively engage in issue resolution
- Monitor and witness installation and test processes for compliance with requirements while keeping a watchful eye for risk reduction opportunities
Position requires a full commitment to support overtime, odd shifts (as required), and on call requirements as dictated by operational needs. Although a shift is specified, expect rotations to other shifts in support of team needs. Mid-Entry Level position
Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree.
Candidate will need three years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical Quality Assurance, Mechanical Quality Assurance, Instrument/Equipment Technician Quality Assurance, Product Inspection, Electronics Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Testing.
Must be able to commit to support overtime, odd shifts and on call requirements as dictated by operational needs.
Although a shift is specified, expect rotations to other shifts in support of team needs.
Mid-Entry Level position
Desired skills Desired skills include previous work experience in an Aerospace Environment or an electronics and mechanical background or related work experience in an adjacent field. Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical skills used in the aerospace industry is desired. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance and its application is important. Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical test processes and procedures. Automation Framework and SAP experience are also desired.
