Lockheed Martin Business Operations Senior Manager / Adelaide, Australia / 6-9 Months in Liverpool, New York

Temporary assignment in Adelaide, Australia (6-9 months) supporting current Business Operations Sr. Mgr in Adelaide. Candidate will manage and perform analysis to ensure present and future programs and overall operational financial performance meet or exceed forecasts. This will include identifying and implementing process enhancements across the business operations functions which result in improvements in overall operating effectiveness, cost reductions, create opportunities for top line revenue growth and position the business for rapid and sustainable expansion. This includes optimization of internal LMAES processes and procedures as well as establishing optimal relationship with US based BA’s, LOB’s, and Enterprise Operations. Maintains multiple financial ledgers in order to support multiple LOB’s within MST and the corporation. Oversee Managerial and Transactional Accounting: Financial reporting, tax, full balance sheet responsibility, A/P, A/R, Pcard and travel card management, and capital management

Basic Qualifications •Understanding of the existing LMA operation •Familiarity with US regulatory and legislative requirements •Demonstrated ability and record of achievement in a Business Operations/Transformation function managing a significant program or organization Significant years of related experience in international business operations in a Defense and/or Civil contracting environment •Experience managing and conducting audits, both internal and external, regulatory and operational •Risk and opportunity identification and mitigation/capture •Full Spectrum Leader with demonstrated experience in leading, managing and motivating a team •Demonstrated understanding of business principles and practices •Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to deal with internal and external clients and users in high pressure situations. •Experience in providing expert analysis, advice and recommendations to executive directors and senior managers within a similar environment •Ability to support all aspects of the proposal process including risk analysis, Independent Cost Evaluation, cost volume support and EPP scheduling and effective presentation. Provide financial thought leadership to all proposals.

Desired skills •Extensive experience in the development of innovative Business Operations strategies and policies •Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant Business Operations-related legislative provisions, regulations and Acts, accounting principles, practices and standards •Knowledge of corporate accounting systems (ex. SAP Business One)and other financial systems required to conduct daily business operations Familiarity with Australian regulatory and legislative requirements
