Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Staff Member for Laser and Lidar in Louisville, Colorado

_Louisville, Colorado_: Perform technical planning for laser programs throughout the technology development cycle including, proof of concept demonstrations, design maturation, and operational system development and delivery. Produce system design documentation, i.e. functional diagrams, interface diagrams, etc., at the appropriate level for the program with a focus on documentation that is most useful for the technical team. Work with other Systems Engineering teams to identify complex sub-system and system interface requirements and track compatibility of system design with required interfaces. Additionally the successful candidate will work closely with technical team in capturing system requirements, identifying and managing design trades, identifying technical, schedule and cost risks, and lead the development of system integration and performance verification plans. Must be self-motivated and self-directed. Must be willing and able to obtain an SCI clearance.

Basic Qualifications 1+ years experience in lead or other self-directed position Experience in the development and/or use of laser based instruments Proven capability to guide technical teams through Systems Engineering process Experience in preparing Systems Engineering content for major program reviews, i.e. CDR, TRR. Experience developing or requirements documentation, interface control documentation, and maintaining system verification and validation plans Excellent oral and presentation skills Has or is willing and able to hold an SCI clearance
