Serves as Contracts Manager for the Antisubmarine Warfare and Trident areas within the C4USS line of business. Responsible for leading a team that performs all facets of Contract Negotiation and Administration, ensuring that contracts are negotiated and administered in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, statutory laws and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Reviews and evaluates customer requests for proposal and revisions to contracts. Provides risk assessments and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language. Prepares and presents briefings to management and customers. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Develops and applies advanced concepts, techniques, standards and solutions to unusually complex problems. Provides contractual guidance to junior employees. Possesses strong understanding of the cradle-to-grave contracts process. Establishes effective working relationships with all internal and external customers. Experienced and successful working within a team environment. The candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. The selected individual will be responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition/ disciplinary actions. Comfortable working all contract types (FFP, FPI, CPAF/IF, T&M, IDIQ). The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision. This position will be located in Manassas, Virginia, but travel to Mitchell Field and Syracuse may be required as necessary to support program needs.

Basic Qualifications •Broad knowledge and experience with all phases of contracts management •Extensive experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation(s)(FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS) •Broad negotiation experience •Experience working with multiple contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, T&M, etc.). •Strong business acumen •Ability to communicate and establish strong relationships with internal and external customer.
