Lockheed Martin AMMM OMMS/Maintenance Manuals Manager - Technical Publications in Marietta, Georgia
Technical Publications Manager responsible for directing the day-to-day activities and operation of the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Organizational Maintenance Manual Set (OMMS) / Maintenance Manuals Writing Team. Successful candidate will be responsible for budget and schedule performance within an Earned Value Management System (EVMS); timely delivery of all AMMM OMMS / Maintenance technical publications including new manual sets and revision service updates overseeing these activities within the Automated Technical Manual (ATM), Virtually Integrated System for Technical Authoring (VISTA), and C-130 S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) authoring environments. This position requires management of personnel including labor recording oversight, performance management, and training requirements. This key technical publications leader collaborates with other teams to manage customer deliveries to minimize risk of schedule compromise.
Basic Qualifications Strong customer focus to exceed customer expectations 100% of the time characterized by first time quality. Full Spectrum leadership focus with an aptitude and desire to reinvent sustainment and lead change within the context of an organization maturing under Culture of Accountability. Prior leadership experience leading diverse teams including an emphasis on professional development of subordinates. Project management experience on large, multi-faceted projects. History of successfully managing programs with positive results – delivered on time and within EAC budget targets within an EVMS. Demonstrated multi-tasking skills - must have the ability to function in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous deliverables.
Desired skills Leadership acumen: strong people skills; change management experience; demonstrated commitment to implementing and extending Culture of Accountability. Experience with a broad range of Technical Publications products for military, commercial, and civil customers. Understanding of aircraft maintenance practices. Knowledge of publications specifications and publications development tools and processes.
