Lockheed Martin Project Management & Planning Operations Representative in Marietta, Georgia

Provide Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) Depot Operations Modification Retrofit (DOMR) Field Operations & Logistics Support (FOLS) support at Marietta, GA. This AMMM aircraft (C-5, C-130, P-3, or LM-100) Contract Field Team Lead position will be a direct interface with various customers within the United States Government (USG) Acquisition, Sustainment, & Logistics Management Organizations to include USAF, USCG, USMC, and multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) including direct commercial sales of foreign customers. Primary job duties include the coordination of all logistics, repair, and modifications required to sustain AMMM aircraft configuration and availability requirements. Specific tasks include the planning, coordination, and execution of complex modifications and repairs to multiple aircraft platforms and configurations. Duties also include Change Request (CR) evaluation and quoting, Technical Data and Publications review, kitting inventory validation, planning, quoting and execution of modification/repair projects. Additional tasks include direct customer interface as well as coordination with various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and organizations involved in the support of modification/repair projects. Candidate must be willing and able to travel for business and extended periods to execute Sustainment Operations activities at domestic and international customer sites.

Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications Previous maintenance, modification, planning, scheduling, and documentation experience. Fluent in areas of planning, cost/schedule, and risk/opportunity management. Possess above average skills and proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access) and MS Project and be able to provide status reports, documents, and schedules. Proposal support experience to include SOW and task sheet development. Aircraft maintenance/modification management & planning experience. Depot-level Maintenance/Modification. Familiar with earned value concepts and practices. Strong verbal and written skills communication skills. Knowledge of Sustainment organization and functions. Procedure and process development. Ability to interpret and execute policies and procedures that typically affect aircraft maintenance activities. Above average communication skills and be able to operate with minimum direction and supervision Analyzes and evaluates aircraft and associated equipment proposals for modification Must exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills Familiar with mod/production operations. Team player. Self-starter.
