Serve as the Technical Security Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) C4 Undersea Systems (C4USS) line of business (LOB) in Mitchel Field, NY.

Responsibilities are ensuring compliance with government security requirements pertaining to computing systems processing classified information. Will utilize subject matter expert level knowledge of the Industrial Security Field Operations (ISFO) Process Manual for the Certification and Accreditation of Classified Systems, Defense Security Service Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM Chapter 8)

Responsibilities include: •Serve as primary Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the Mitchel Field facility per the NISPOM, implementing all requirements consistent with C4USS program needs and standards established by RMS and Lockheed Martin Corporation. •Coordinating the Technical Security program in Mitchel Field with other USS LOB sites, and other LOBs within RMS. •Interfacing with other Lockheed Martin organizations with employees having Cyber Security skillsets, to share knowledge and resources as appropriate. •Acting as a liaison with government agencies such as the Defense Security Service (DSS), Defense Information Systems Agency, and internal and external Counter Intelligence Organizations. •Ensuring day-to-day operations of Technical Security support and implement computer security needs of the Mitchel Field site, to include directing self-assessments/audits to measure effectiveness. •Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of system security plans and other documentation necessary to prove compliance with government requirements for protection of classified information processed on LM and customer information systems. •Manage a team that authors Risk Management Framework System Security Plans, maintains accreditations, and performs technical certification for accredited systems, and implements an information systems (IS) security education program. •Coordinating efforts of Technical Security with IT operations organizations. •Providing Technical Security portion of proposals (e.g. Basis of Estimate, etc.) and modifications to existing contracts. •Engage with program management, engineering staff, and other security and program personnel resolve technical security-related issues. •Supporting Lockheed Martin Corporate Security initiatives by providing input and recommendations to the Government Compliance Security Working and Advisory Group (GCSWAG) through the RMS representative, as needed. •Overseeing the LOB’s compliance with technical information setting for all operating systems, to include Windows operating systems, Unix/Linux, etc. on classified computer systems. •Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing metrics for the LOB. •Completing other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications •Prior experience as ISSM, Alternate ISSM, or DoD equivalent •Experience working with classified Information Systems •Ability to author security plans and maintain accreditations •Ability to perform technical certifications for systems being presented to the government for accreditation, to include self-certification under DSS •Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers and senior management •Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment •Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security •Experience with the development of a Risk Management Framework infrastructure •Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance •Demonstrated experience with obtaining, deploying, maintaining and operating Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) enclave •CISSP or other DoDD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Management Level III certification

Desired skills •Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE •Knowledge of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the NSA configuration standards for DOD systems •Knowledge of government/contractor network interconnectivity arrangements •Ability to speak in front of large groups of people
