Lockheed Martin Compensation Analyst Stf in Orlando, Florida
With an eye for critical thinking and a passion for communication, process improvement and project management, this position will lead major broad-based compensation initiatives across the enterprise in a complex, high-visibility environment.
• Coordinates Lockheed Martin’s annual pay planning process for enterprise-wide non-executive employees. Leads team of business area Compensation POCs to design, develop, and implement Lockheed Martin’s Focal Point Salary Review process. • Organizes the execution of enterprise-wide broad-based incentive programs (e.g. EIP, VIP, CCP, and KEEP). Responsible for developing communications plans and materials, overseeing bi-annual plan audits, and facilitating the annual nomination program. • Collaborates with the business areas on the development of BA-specific retention and incentive plans. • Facilitates enterprise-wide recognition programs, including budget development, reporting, and supporting the development and implementation of a new global recognition platform. • Serves as a resource and subject matter expert to the corporate and business area Compensation & Performance Management teams, providing high quality customer service in researching and resolving issues in a timely manner. • Develops and delivers enterprise-wide compensation training and communications. • Supports other areas of Compensation & Performance Management on an as-needed basis.
Position can be based out of major Lockheed Martin locations in Bethesda, MD, Orlando, FL, or other major work locations on a case-by-case basis.
Basic Qualifications Broad based knowledge of HR and payroll operations best practices and compliance • Strong project management experience with knowledge of full project life cycle, including business process design, documentation, execution and change management • Demonstrated experience building strong client relationships; • Demonstrated consultative skills and experience influencing business decisions; • Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems, analyze data and translate into recommendations and presentations; • Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional and external reporting relationships; • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex ideas to senior management and other audiences; • Strong business acumen • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (utilizing advanced features such as vLookups and Pivot Tables) with ability to produce graphic representations of analytical data for presentations • Current knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws (e.g. Fair Labor Standards Act)
Desired skills • Knowledge of the Lockheed Martin job classification system • Familiarity with the Lockheed Martin HRIS employee database, LMPeople, for reporting and queries • Familiarity with LMCO Business Area(s) is highly valued; • Experience leading virtual, multiple project teams (e.g. 5-10) through complex change programs; • Demonstrated detail-orientation, multitasking and effective project management skills; • Ability to work either independently or in a team environment, depending on the task. • Strong working knowledge of compensation policies and programs in LMCO.
